About us

ENORA (European Network of Russian-speaking Academics) brings together Russian-speaking researchers and faculty members working at European universities, academic institutions, and research centers.

Over the past 20-30 years, a large and diverse community of Russian-speaking scholars representing various disciplines and countries has emerged in Europe. Despite differences in research interests and professional experience, many researchers face similar challenges: establishing new professional contacts, developing international collaborations, securing funding, accessing modern research tools, and building long-term academic careers.

ENORA aims to foster the development of this community by creating a professional network and developing grant and resource support programs. One of ENORAs key areas of work is the collection and analysis of information on the Russian-speaking academic diaspora in Europe. We seek to better understand researchers career trajectories, the factors contributing to successful integration into the European academic environment, and the current needs of the scientific community. The data we collect helps us develop new initiatives and build partnerships with universities, foundations, and other organizations.

We are open to collaboration with researchers, scientific organizations, foundations, and companies interested in advancing science and supporting the international academic community.
